Accident And Sports Insurance Programs (for member schools)

With any organization's activities there is always the possibility that a student may suffer an injury…perhaps just a cut, scratch or bruise…or something much more serious. If an accident did occur and your organization wanted to help pay the medical expenses, could you withstand the financial impact? In the case of a serious accident, medical expenses could easily be more than all your available funds. FCCPSA's "Special Risk" Accident Insurance and Sports Insurance from ITT Hartford can help relieve your member group of this potential problem. It adds little to your budget, yet provides liberal benefits for each registered K - 12 student. The Sports policy covers all registered players, managers, coaches and trainers. All eligible students in your organization must participate in the program for the policy to be in effect. Once enrolled, claim forms will be sent to your organization's insurance coordinator to use as needed.

Accident Insurance Program: Medical Coverage for Program Activities

FCCPSA's Accident Insurance Program covers all your registered K-12 students during approved group activities of your organization. Policy covers social activities, field trips, group testing and group education classes including PE classes. Even travel to and from such events is included. No coverage is available for normal daily classroom settings. All K-12 students registered with your organization must participate to gain coverage under the program. The number of your students and your payment received is all we need to start your coverage. Policy period begins October 1st and continues until September 30th. You may start anytime during the policy year, but all coverage ends September 30th. If the number of your participants increases during your year, you may increase your coverage by updating your numbers with payment. This is usually done at mid-year. Refunds are not available once coverage begins.

Team Sports Accident Insurance Program (for member schools)

FCCPSA's Team Sports Accident Insurance Program is available to provide the insurance you need to enter your students into sports competition. At most facilities, practice or play on site without proof of insurance coverage is impossible. Liability insurance is not available at this time, but medical insurance is. Insurance is provided at reasonable rates to members of FCCPSA . To keep the rates low, coverage is excess only. Meaning your personal medical insurance coverage of any kind must be used first before this coverage becomes activated. For a family who has no medical insurance, the policy becomes primary for covered expenses. It is required by the insurance company that all coaches, managers, trainers and players of your team must be covered by this policy. You may want other support personnel protected as well. All team personnel rates are figured at the team rate. Refunds are not available once coverage begins. Coverage starts upon receipt of payment. Coverage is subject to further policy details.
